Well, what can I say? Thank you.
My name is Camilla, but I’ve been known to answer to an incomprehensible number of other things. I joined law school in 2008 and – according to my grandfather – I’ve been doing little else but collecting post-nominals ever since.
The reality is somewhat different. I was privileged to attend some wonderful law schools (Oxford for my doctorate, Harvard for my master’s, and London and Bologna for my bachelor’s), but as most of us come to find out when we leave the ivory tower behind, to survive in the real world you need a little bit more than that.
Thankfully, I made sure to sharpen skills and gather experience along the way. In a decade of law school, I undertook incredibly meaningful assignments that included fighting sexual exploitation and abuse of children in Liberia, defending the condemned on death row in Louisiana, and working on safe zones in armed conflict at the UN in New York City, along with some not-so-exciting stuff in property, criminal, and corporate law.
During that time, I also established a handful of businesses, and a couple of which were successful enough to pay for whatever my scholarships didn’t. One of them, you may not be surprised to hear, was a content writing business.
Fast forward about ten years and I’ve produced over two million words of content for over two hundred clients in the legal sector. I’m highly experienced in digital marketing, and am lucky to have a roster of loyal clients who simply refuse to go anywhere else.
I have also learned a heck of a lot about the business of law – about how lawyers and legal companies can attract, close, and keep high quality clients. When you combine exceptional legal content with a deep understanding of business development, you have a powerful recipe for growth and success.
Whatever you’re doing with your content, I’m honoured that you found me and I’d wager that together we can do incredible things for your business.
Fancy working together?
You can find out more about what I can do for you by perusing my offerings, and if you’d like to understand some more of my thinking behind what works and what doesn’t in the world of legal marketing, you should read some of my musings.
And of course, if you just want to say hello, feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Psst. By the way, if you’re here to flatter me even more by asking me to be a guest on your podcast or do a cameo in your next Hollywood blockbuster (you never know), you can check out my press page for everything you need.
To your success!
